Hi Folks, well this is a different kind of post on Old Car City. What you'll see here are the photographers from my photo club in action. The club spent the day here. While shooting cars, I also took some candid shots of my fellow photographers at work. These were fun times and having shots of my friends (in addition to the cars) completes the event for me. I'll enjoy these for years to come. Hope you will too.

Looks like an interesting place to explore with your camera, James. Some vintage cars getting to rest in peace. I agree with your feelings about the importance of friends in our lives, especially as we get older. I just spent a day with my best pal and enjoyed the same happiness you shared with your photo buddies. In retirement, we finally get to spend unlimited time with the people who mean the most to us in life.

Your group photo is more people than I've ever seen there at the same time. Nice to see a different season too!

Your so right on this John. Without friends, life sure would be empty. Being in a club is a great way to make friends with people who have similar interests. Sadly, because of health reasons, I haven't been on any field trips in awhile and I sure miss it. Hope your doing well.

I think we had about 15 people on this outing. 10 from the Nashville club plus friends and relatives (non-members). It was lots of fun, but sometimes you had to wait your turn when we came across interesting subjects. Like the old Pontiac Indian Hood ornaments. Everyone wanted shots of those. Another nice thing about being in a group was finding stuff one might otherwise miss. I often heard people yelling "hey, come check this out". We were here in mid-May. Temps got a bit warm as the day progressed, but the morning time was perfect.

Lots to see at Old Car City if you like old rusty things. Thanks Greg, I'm a fan of your birding. Great stuff.
