Here are some of my initial attempts at shooting my Grandson during this past basketball season. All comments good or bad welcomed.
The difference between the 2nd and 3rd is the shutterspeeds 1/160 to 1/320, both at ISO-3200. The brighter 2nd is f/4 and the darker & faster is f/5.6. Both have subject movement / blur, with the 3rd being better at 1/320. You might consider shooting at 1/400 on Shutter priority and using AUTO ISO. Your focus on the player and tracking the action looks good, tweeking your settings will help with the exposure. Stay at 1/320 if the ISO goes too high where the blur in the 3rd image is minor and pleasing. I'm assuming your lens is variable aperture and all these are wide open for the zoom focal length.
Thanks for your input. The season is over but soccer is coming soon.
