Yes, they were pretty much everywhere along the road and in places quite thick and unafraid. There were several signs posted in the park about them damaging cars so I watched them closely. Saw one go hopping over to my car and hop on the trunk. I chased him away but I am sure they could do lots of damage with those beaks. Because they were so unafraid it wasn't too difficult to get a good photo of them. They were quite curious of what I was doing to the point of following me around at times. As for feeding them, I am certain you are right about them getting fed, but there were also signs saying there is a $5000 fine for doing so. I chose not to feed them.
