posting photos with EXIF info.

If I want to post a photo on this site,
1.) for one thing I've been advised to post resized jpeg (smalls)
and
2.) to post a photo with exif info so that people can help me to analyze the data

Is it possible to do both?

How do I either make sure exif data is available, or that it is not?

Also, how do I see the exif data on someone else's posted photo?

If you are uploading photos that you are requesting help with, it is best not to downsize them. If you are just posting them for display and are concerned about them being misappropriated, then downsizing is fine.

If you check the "Store Original" box, the exif
data will be embeded in the file and can be viewed several ways once the file has been downloaded and saved. Some operating systems allow you to right click on the file name, and view the "properties" of the file including exif info. Loading it into an editing program will also allow you to see it. There are also downloadable, freeware, programs that read exif info.
