I just discovered Chad Berry on You Tube. His explanation of how to set and use BBF for Canon rivals our own Steve Perry's for Nikon.
What I learned is how to make it auto switch from one shot to AI Servo using just the BBF button. Maybe I'm the only one but it is a great tutorial.

I watched it. It's a great explanation. I set my cameras and tried them. I like it. Now if I can just remember to do it in real life.
Hmmm.... so I still have single point AF selected and to keep subjects in focus as they move toward or away from me, I keep the AF-ON button depressed on the back of the camera but if subject remains on the same focal plane I can release the AF-ON button. Is that correct? Also, this disables my ability to move focal points, right? Gonna have to play with this and see if I like it. Thanks for sharing!
