Excellent set Doddy,Whitby is one of my favourite places to visit.
A great set of a beautiful old city. It is a shame that the Abbey had been damaged. Mahalo for sharing.
What beautiful pictures and a great story to go along with it. I love the tombstones and the church. I can’t help but wonder if Dracula ever left the church and became Christopher Lee.
Well done,
Dennis
Nice--enjoyed seeing them.

Yes Jim, it is a lovely place to visit, every Cafe/pub and restaurant was doing a roaring trade, and as usual, the famous "Magpie" Cafe had a queue outside. Thanks for looking.

Not quite a city JoAnne, over here to qualify for city status you have to have a Cathedral. Its worth googling "Whitby Abbey". Thanks for looking.
