Hi Ren and welcome,
You talking about Railroads reminds me of Christmas 1963, when I was attending 'Spook School' at Ft. Devens, Mass. I took some leave and with another Texas resident, we went into Boston and caught the NEXT train out to Texas. We Just Barely beat the Prep Schools and Ivy League Universities Students piling on board our Train headed to Chicago.
Apparently to get to Texas from Boston, we ''''had'''' to go through Chicago!!!
At any rate, by the time the Prep kids got on and the University kids as well it was 'obvious' they're are NO LAWS against OVER BOOKING PASSENGERS, for Trains!
Every car of that Train was loaded to the gills with Prep & College kids. My partner and I were the ONLY Military guys on the train. The kids were setting on their Suitcases JAMPACKED into the Aisle of the railroad cars! To get to the Diner car, we literally had to WALK ON THE AISLE ARMRESTS of the Train's Passenger cars!
Surely a Federal Violation of Railroad Transportation Laws, like anyone had EVER SEEN in their lives! Had their been a FIRE, we surely would ALL have DIED!
As I was beginning to truly 'worry' about our 'situation', suddenly the kids began to SING CHRISTMAS CAROLS . . . my buddy and I must have amused nearby Students as the pointed at our hanging open mouths as we were looking around in astonishment!
It was like a scene from the old Hollywood Movie .... 'Holiday Inn' .... I look back on it now and all I can think of to describe it is ...... one phrase, "Absolutely Precious"; it was real life and yet .... was entirely outside of my experiences in the Military. But things got better ..... (later)

Hi Earnest, I rode past a Shelby like the one in your Pic, as I was riding my Harley Davidson Heritage Classic one nice afternoon.
As luck would have it the driver of that car looked at my ride the same time I was admiring his and in perfect unison we both gave each other an admiring "Thumbs Up" signal, smiled and rode on our way . . .
Corpus has great weather for riding motorcycles and convertibles, in the spring and fall.
As I'm sure you've heard said: "Texas has great weather and along comes summer and screws it all up!"
