Hello!
I'm headed to Nashville in July. Anyone out there that can recommend some photo spots in/around there would be much appreciated.

If you like street photography there is a very lively presence as folks walk around and jump from bar to bar to hear the music. A vibrant, fun city with many photo opportunities.

You will enjoy Nashville. There is the Parthenon, the Hermitage, and if you want some fun shots walk up and down Broadway (lots of Honky Tonks and good eats). The Country Music Hall of Fame is interesting along with and ever changing skyline. A trip to the Grand Ol Opry on Tues, Fri, or Sat is good for some more pictures.
Every Saturday night at 10 pm Central (except this Mar 23) there is the taping for the Midnite Jamboree, the 2nd longest continuously running country music show after the Grand Ol' Opry. It started in 1947. Tickets are free. Held at the Texas Troubadour Theater. Still photography allowed.

As someone mentioned, here is the Parthenon in Nashville, taken on a rainy afternoon. It is a full size replica of the original in Athens. and inside a huge statue of Athena.
Google maps will be better to fully research the area than a handful of replies from people who may like things you would not care for. I make my own plans and never ask anyone where to go. Much more of an experience that way. I see these topics here daily and I have to wonder why?
Many things downtown !! The tall building with the spires , we called it the Bat building(AT&T) at one time, looked like it was from batman !!

Nice set, thanks for sharing. Great low light images. The Opry website states cameras are not allowed. How did you get around this?

That's seems new. Which is kind of odd. I've even had Opry employees inspect my camera at the door without any problems. At the shows I have attended, they know most people are tourist (with cameras) and they used to announce, "take all the pictures you want". They used to explain how you can walk down the aisle to get near the stage. No one has ever stopped me or bothered me from taking pictures. I sure hope they don't start enforcing that stupid policy.
Looks like James56 has it covered pretty well. This is a great town with lots to see and do.
