Have always removed pre-AI couplers,
but almost never discarded them. I've
gathered similar pointless collections
as well, just dig in to those bins in the
2nd image, similarly useless chatzkes,
organized by categories.

A few more things from me, the battery to help show size relationship. Very small and delicate.

I like these tiny detailed miniatures.

Thaz Annie. She is just an innocent bystander
serving to provide a sense of scale, altho this
is barely a fraction of the tip of the iceberg. A
few of the ice cubes are also posted. The final
two images are of the guilty party, Nick, with
a few more ice cubes visible on a shelf behind
him, and a scene of Nick helping two noobies.
You might notice more of the collection on the
ledge high up and behind the noobies.

Sue collects Santas... and the tree has some Santas, and a collection of Hummels as well...
In these pictures... there's at least 10 on the mantle, and another 6 or 8 on the hearth,
Another 3 out of picture to the right, anchoring the TV, and another 1 or 2 on the side table,
out of sight to the left of the camera...
And this is the restrained Christmas version,
I asked her to limit it to the den, this year....
She compromised and set a (few!?) up in the kitchen, as well...
p.s. - don't forget the tree topper...

This Hula- Santa, He hula dances on the front porch..

This was taken with my Nikon D3400 & kit lens 18-55mm. I still need more work on sharpness and above all setting up my shot prior to. This was done in haste a couple of weeks ago. It's a 1948 Wards Airline (Montgomery Wards brand).

p.2 Do you collect old radios? Interesting.

Fed Ex delivered my new lens from B-H a couple of weeks ago on a cold, rainy day and I was anxious to try it out. So I set up some still-life photos of my wife's old David Winter House collection. I'll contribute them to the challenge.

p.2. Looks like you and that new lens did a terrific job.

p..2. Lots of special things in this series, Karen. I see the old Bibles. I have many from family members and old hymnals too. If I find some time, I'll drag them out and "capture" them.

There is a tradition at the finish of a barn raising, before the siding is placed, that the volunteers who helped build the timber frame, sign the framing timbers. Never to been seen again. These are just a few of the signatures of those who built our barn

p.2. How wonderful!

Nice start Bob! Thanks for hosting. Other than collecting dust, I now collect mannequins that my mother left. When going through her storage, I discovered she had another mannequin that I've now added to the collection. And I think there is at least one other that I'm hoping to find in storage.

p.2. Never knew anyone who collected Mannequins!
