That statement applies only to certain parts of the state. I donβt think anyone ever said that itβs warm year-round in Flagstaff, for instance.

Looks like my backyard earlier this week south of Tucson about 40 miles. I didn't move to southern Arizona to freeze my tush off, but I am! But, supposed to be in the 70's this week.

The last time I was there, several years ago, it was freezing.

My stepdaughter got a degree from Prescott College. The pictures she sent had snow, and the time I visited was snow on the ground. In about 1986. Great environmental College as I recall. Hit my budget hard as I recall.

I've been here--Cottonwood, AZ--over five years; this is the longest cold spell I've experienced here. Temperatures close to zero C daytime and below freezing at night more than a week now. We're at 3,600 ft ASL, almost in the center of the state.
