The Fascinating Desert

There has been so much rain in the Arizona desert around where I'm currently staying, that the plant life is flourishing. The lens flare in the first shot didn't come from any post-processing. I didn't even see it until I downloaded the pictures onto my computer, a delightful surprise to me.
Although not a "Close Up," the last picture shows how green a usually brown landscape can get.

Thank you so much, Johnny! Since I took these shots, we've had a whole lot more rain along with cold, and the Superstition Mountains have snow on them!
