Nikon has already outdated their Coolpix P900 by the P1000 - which adds another THOUSAND mm - (FF equivalent) but, hey … this is about the TWO THOUSAND mm Super-Zooms - which includes the Kodak PixPro AstroZoom AZ-901 … which (cheated a little) only goes out to 1980mm. Still!!! Whaddyathink?

I would guess that most users entered looking for the actual face-off/comparison. And after seeing there is no such, and the intention of the post was to ask for that info, they didn't have anything to contribute.

The Kodak is better for one simple reason: it shoots RAW. The Nikon is a waste of money because it doesn’t.

The Kodak has a greater RANGE, too … sure it's short 20mm on the long end, but, on the short end - it's just 22mm … whereas the Nikon starts at 24mp …
83x for the Nikon P900 ... 90x for the Kodak AZ-901 ... 7x greater zoom!!!!
