A picture i.d. is required when you present your Medicare/Medicaid/Health Insurance card to the doctor. It's required if you drive. If you need to get notarized you need a picture i.d. If you need a passport you need a picture i.d. and a birth certificate. It's almost impossible to get through this life without a state issued picture i.d. So what's the big deal?

not to mention purchasing a firearm. Think of all thosed opressed people who can't get to the dmv to get id so they can exercise their second amendment rights and purchase a firearm for self defense. Alsaso notice the huge deafening silence from the same people on the left winning about voter id.

Just what this country needs - more firearms. We only have 300 million now.
I personally would make it illegal for anyone over seventy to own a gun at all, but that's just me.

showing proper id so you can vote is like wearing a chastity belt, it prevents Hanky Panky!

It's important that you apply your personal beliefs to your own life.
It's disgusting that you apply your personal beliefs to others who believe differently.

Would this include any WWII veteran who fought for your right to say that?

A lot of them have kept their weapons. They are all over seventy and we're losing more and more of that treasured generation every day. Spend a few minutes with some of these gentlemen and see if you change your tune a bit.

Met a dive bomber pilot from WWII this week - took a minute to thank him.

Im just fine with the picture id.The timing though to bring it up seams strange. Why wait just before the election? So the pres responds with the getting id's for the illegals.Tit for tat,and the school yard antics continue.

Hey Kit Lens. In Nashville, a few months ago, a couple of thugs decided to kick in the door of an 83 year old woman. She greeted them with a Taurus Judge loaded with 410 shot gun shell. One of the thugs threw his hand in front of his face. When the police got there they found his thumb in the drive. His left eye was out of its socket and his friend behind him was peppered with shot. But, I guess by your belief she should have been the one to have gotten hurt. Maybe you would feel different if it were someone you cared about.

There are some religons that won't allow themselves to be photographed. What about them?

I believe that if you research the statistics on voter irregularities, there isn't a whole lot of that going on.
