I don't know how to do that, but you don't need an avatar picture in high resolution anyway.
If you're on a smartphone, all you need do is click on the picture and and hold to get a window that lets you choose to download the picture and it will be saved in a file on your device.
Alternatively, if you are using a desktop or a laptop, I think you right click to get that same selection window.
In my experience, avatars work better when the original image is a little more square.
So what I have done in these attachments is send you the original as well as a cropped version that keeps the Integrity of the cat - - those huge paws are priceless !!!
If you've never added an avatar before, you do it through the link above to My Profile. Once you have the photo on your device, all you do is choose to upload.Try them both to see what you think.
