Thanks LeeK for your input. #4 made the airborne drop but soon was crushed by the rest of the wave. That photo was from the world famous "Wedge" in Newport Beach, CA. When it breaks, it attracts huge crowds of people to gawk. Thanks for liking #8.....I like the back light on the rocks and the layers of textures in the whole photo.

Chuck, I have never shot any "big wave events" like Pipeline but I have photographed big waves many times. I'm attaching a sample for you here.
