Lovely, nostalgic pictures of Spring. I don't know what "corner" you're on, but where I live isn't approaching the same corner.

Beautiful pictures, but I don't agree with your statement that spring is just around the corner...at least not where I am.
We have -24c this morning and 41" of snow on the ground in Northern Ontario.

Yikes. Hope you get some warm weather soon.

You have presented some unique ways of drawing our eye to your subject using blur vs sharpness David. Nicely accomplished. Bev

Thanks. Having F2.8 helps to isolate the subject once you develop the techniques required to establish the focus quickly enough with that shallow of an aperture on a 400mm lens. The subject itself is difficult enough out in the open.

I wish I could say spring is just around the corner. The beginning of winter was mild but February has given us a typical Michigan winter. It's been crazy and unpredictable.
Your set of spring captures is most enjoyable and has me dreaming of the day crocus will peak out of the snow and robins come hopping across green lawns.

Great set of images. I love the color and composition of #1. Also partial to the blue peeking through in the last one.

So very beautiful! I am in NW, FL, had the windows open a few days & had to close them this morning. Supposed to get down to 53 tonight.

I wish I could say spring is just around the corne... (show quote)

I'm sure you will have those flowers and critters fluttering about the garden at some point. The frogs have been calling here at my pond for the past three weeks. The crocus are long gone and the daffodils are on their way out. Trees are now making their attempt at a spring display. I am glad you have survived that last cold spell we only got to read about.

Thank you again for the comments and shared enthusiasm for my images. They are fun for me to produce.
