A beautiful specimen of a Red Shouldered Hawk.

Yesterday it poured down rain. I thought my brief outing would be a wash out. But, I came upon this Hawk drying himself. This is one beautiful, healthy guy! I just wanted to share so that you guys can see the markings on him and a prime example of why they are called 'Red Shoulder'.
