He Loves Me...
He loves me not...he loves me!
I posted this photo in the closeup forum, and one member asked about my process for this. It was taken with a canon 100mm lens, and the settings were ISO 800, 1/125 sec, f/5. I did noise reduction, and some basic adjustments first, and then took it into Topaz Restyle, choosing one of the presets, and adjusting it to my liking. Then I added a texture to it. The last thing was to add the falling petals, using the move tool in Photoshop Elements. I hope this helps!
Stunning transformation! Thanks for sharing your process.
Thanks so much, Sandy! Since you posted the large, downloadable file to Close-up forum, I went ahead and moved it to your thread here also. I think your idea is so charming and your execution excellent. I greatly appreciate your taking the time to share the process and hope it inspires others to try.

Thanks, Linda, for your encouraging comments. I want to do another of these in the spring, with a fresh flower. This one was taken in October:)
I think you did a wonderful job. The background and colors are very pretty. A really neat idea!
