The church was full.

The benches were crowded with people.

Suddenly, in a cloud of smoke, Satan appeared in the middle of the church.

Everyone screamed and ran to the exit, jostling each other.
Only an old man had sat quietly on his bench.
He seemed to be fooling himself with the devil in front of him.

Satan addressed the old man:

- Do not you know who I am?


The man replied:

- Of course yes.
- Are not you afraid of me? Satan asked him.
"Not at all," said the man.
- Do not you realize that I can kill you with one word?
"I do not doubt it for a minute," the old man calmly replied.
- Do you know that I can inflict horrible suffering for eternity?
- Yeah, I know that too.

- And you're still not afraid of me? Satan asked.
- Not at all !


Exasperated, Satan asked him:


- Why are not you afraid of me?


The man calmly replied:

- I've been married to your sister for 58 years !!!
