Tuxedos usually have yellow eyes, but when a blue-eyed kitten comes from a yellow-eyed mom, It generally means that there is some blue-eyed genetics in the heritage of both the mom and the dad (blue being recessive)...
You may no longer be involved, but I hope the owners of mom had her spayed - - and I hope Beauty is also...
So, did you check your monitor to see if the purplish tint was something inherent - - I was thinking it was an interesting effect done on purpose - - and it's still an interesting effect, whether intentional or not.
