My question if i put my lens on manual do i have to have my camera on manual also or can i put it on Av or TV with lens on manual?

Thanks

Manual on the lens has to do with focusing. Manual mode on the camera has to do with shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. You don't have to put the camera in manual mode.

It does not make a difference in which mode you've set your camera, the manual switch on the lens does only affect the af! So you will have to focus manually!
