Snapbtidge and the iPhone xs

Just got a new iPhone X's. My old iPhone 7 worked seamlessly with snapbridge. Can't get the car to transfer pics. It stalls out while setting up the camera. Has anyone been able to get the two to work together. If so what did you do? They will pair, but nothing else. I have the moon d3400.

Snapbridge does not work consistently with iOS. There are many articles about the problem.
