Sounds weird but unplug everything from the unit and transformer from wall outlets. Wait a minute or two and plug them back in see if that works.
Been there, done that. I'm sending it back to the company today. They'll repair is for $32.99 and give it another year's warranty.
Power outages can, indeed, destroy all kinds of digital devices. The best solution is to use a surge protector.
If you have a wall wart external power supply you verify with a multimeter that proper voltage is coming from the wall wart. It will be a bit higher than 12 V as it is an unregulated supply with no load.
If the power supply in internal take the company up on its offer.
Jerry, Sad to hear about the damaged Grace Internet radio. I too have a Grace, but it's an Internet tuner, and like you, it's connected directly to the Internet. We've been listening to ClassicFM out of London. It's on 24/7. Should this one fail, I'd gladly buy another, especially since this one has been on for at least four years. Interesting note, we've had power glitches twice in the past year and it survived both. Oh oh, carma. I need to watch out now, don't I?

Considering the outage lasted about three seconds, that would have been difficult.
Hello Jerry, Have you contacted your power company? They may be responsible for damage from this type of outage. The damage was probably done when a huge power spike came through when the power became restored.

does the display screen show netflix or Prime videos?

No. It's very small and shows the station list, Menu, what being played - stuff like that.

That was the only thing affected, and the power comes into the radio through a 12 volt adapter.
Buy yourself a small UPS. I have 5 of them in use.
I use them on the cable box. Computers including laptops.
Modem, router DVR, etc.
