Friend's dog. Butterfly composited in. I tried different perspectives, but the background was distracting. I tried to add texture and blur to minimize but still was not happy. I decided to change the background to solid and add a little flare for interest.
Edit: I believe to get the pose I wanted of the dog my friend was just out of frame with a treat held high. A good photographer always has a great assistant...not that I am a good photographer but I know the value of a great assistant, esp with kids and animals.

I like the final image. Good job on this.
Also, nice looking dog. What breed is it?

Thank you. OOps you edited on me. lol It is a rescue dog so she isnt 100% sure but thinks it may have some Catahoula. It is a beast of muscle mass but friendly.
Good choices, great result!

Thanks. Working with kids and animals can be challenging, but I love both. Sometimes we have to take what we can get and work with that.

Cool, I like the final version.
I could never do that for real with my dogs, they eat anything non-dog or non-human.

Just to clarify, none of the original shots had a butterfly it was composited in (added in post). I went back to find an original unedited pic and realized I did not replace the background. Now I remember we pulled out some fabric I had in my car and threw it over her privacy fence and shot the image in there. Look closely in the unedited version and you will see her hand holding treat at the top left. Sorry if I confused you all.
Great result! Good imagination.

Thanks, Mike. I enjoy when I get an idea in my head and it actually comes together, many do not.
