Thank you! Those are outstanding! You very cleverly included a couple "hidden" items in the photo. The two benches on the other side of the river and the ghostly item down river (a boat perhaps?). I love photos that reveal more the longer you look. Thanks again-loved them.

I thought the names River Tees and Yarm sounded familiar. I made several visits to Middlesbrough (month long each) a few years ago. (Actually I was working at Wilton and staying in Middlesbrough.) Lovely area and great people. It was during those trips that I fell in love with British coastal towns like Saltburn by the Sea, Whitby, Scarborough. Ah so many found memories. I still get a craving for a Parmo (sp?) every now and again.

Thanks again for the lovely photos!
Howard
Thank you! Those are outstanding! You very cleverl... (show quote)

Appreciate your generous comments very much Howard, thank you for looking in. Pleased you enjoyed them. Yes it possibly is a boat as further along the river there are houses that moor their boats there.
We live only a few miles away from Saltburn an hour away is Whitby where we usually visit once a week. My husband’s grandfather owned the Royal Hotel near the whalebones and he spent most of his school holidays there.
Yes Parmo is the correct spelling, still very popular!
