Great Blue Heron...Up, Up, and Away

I am not a BIF shooter, but after looking at my photos of stationery GBHs, I decided I needed to be more patient and capture a bird "doing something." Obviously I need more practice (images not tack sharp), but this is a start. I shot these out of the window of a three-story condo.

Not bad - in fact, a fine capture of the heron. Taking into consideration you shot from the window of a 3 story condo, the results are unbelievable, fiat76

Hi Tony, Focus notwithstanding, picture number four is really a wonderful capture. What lens did you use?

Great action series! The last shot should be hung on the wall.

This is an attractive set. Your vantage point will work for you and different light may yield more detail. I constantly struggle with the patience for my wildlife subjects to "do something" issue. Thanks for the reminder to have a little more patience!
I drove a red Fiat 124 Spider for all of the 70's, it was a lot of fun!
