I have been reading and cogitating on a lot of the recent images and some of the posted replies and/or critiques. So here is one that applies to some of the discussions. Is the model to "old?" Is the problem that the image is cropped? Is it a problem that it is post processed? Is it a problem that wrinkled , veins, sunspots haven't been smoothed out? All things that have come up recently. So comment on the problems, or critique the image. Note that she was 93 years old. Also note she is not a relative, was a volunteer, signed a release, and was definitely the sweetest model I ever worked with. May she now RIP.
I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this. It is a very interesting photo and I think it's sweet.

Part of series about what is beauty concentrated on two things that men and women sometimes disagree--breasts and flowers. Her comment was "I don't know why you would want me but if it for your art--I will."
We have to salute her willingness to pose.

I like it... for a number of reasons.

A powerful image that can speak volumes to anyone with time to contemplate the message(s).
Every emerging youthful model should view this. Take it in. Life is like the wind on your cheek. Here and gone.
I love this photo for all the right reasons.
Thank you.

Well said. Great Image, speaks volumes.
It could be that I'm closer to her age than most of the models here, but I like it.

I think the image is great, but would like it better without the color in the flowers.
Great work either way!!!!
Life's ebb. Certainly belongs here. Tells a story and makes one wonder about her history surviving the 1930s. Perhaps she saw tons of dust overtaking the family yard or serenely floated by the Statue of Liberty. Hmmmm...
I find it powerful and moving. Great work.
I think it is great, both art wise and as a life study.
Certainly different; certainly interesting; certainly processed well; certainly a nice photo.
