A friend of mine took this at one of their camping stops, along the Murray river. It's the border between New South Wales & Victoria, then carries on through South Australia to empty into the Southern ocean.
I thought it a lovely photo displaying peace & tranquility of the Aussie bush.
Nice photo. Strangely I have heard of the Murray River. What caught my attention was that it empties into the Southern Ocean. Twenty years ago while visiting Barrow Alaska my daughter, son and I waded in the Arctic Ocean while my wife sensibly photographed us. The locals give a certificate if you swim or immerse yourself. A group did that while we were there and the string of profanity that produced convinced us of the wisdom of wading. I then claimed we had swum or waded in the four oceans (Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, and Arctic) Subsequently, I learned some have added the Southern Ocean to the list. But I don’t find its boarders on a map. Now I have swum on the ocean south of Melborne (too cold even though the air temperature was in the middle 30s) as well as waded along the Great Ocean Road and in Adelaide. So can I Claim all five?
