Here are a few bridges from Parke County, Indiana...
That Roxie didn't post... (Bridgeton is one of them)
Parke County has 31 covered bridges on a
Covered Bridge Trail, and a Covered Bridge Festival,
every October...

Some very interesting bridges to view. Here are 2 views, 2 different seasons of the Casco Bay Bridge connecting Portland with South Portland, ME I especially liked the way the curve in the clouds matched the lines of the bridge.

Love traveling through Maine & will try to be more bridge alert when passing through Portland. Might be doing some sort of road trip come Spring that involves Canada & New England area. You're right....nice curves in the bridge vs clouds! Bob

It looks like they told the engineers and designers to go ahead and use their imaginations - I've never seen anything like this! Thanks so much for sharing!

Thank you SueScott for enjoying the Glenwood Canyon experience via these pictures. It's an area one can spend many hours exploring in the right season. Hiking trails can be found in several spots & usually uncrowded. On this road trip we were coming back from Utah & heading towards Denver before heading home to Indiana. This canyon is always a highlight for us to visit. Much appreciated, Bob

Here are some local railroad bridges - rather prosaic compared to some of the really awesome bridges shown in this challenge but very useful nevertheless.

I enjoy seeing the railroad bridges SueScott….thank you! The little boy within me can often envision my childhood Lionel train.....crossing these bridges! Bob

Thanks roxiemarty…..for the reminder of some of the covered bridges here in Indiana. Some of these look familiar to me, especially the one "way out there"....since we made it a point to check out many of these bridges shortly after moving here back in 2002. Must revisit since my camera is so much better! Bob

I once caught a train crossing the bridge shown in the first shot and I spent at least an hour in the cold in the same time frame a week later waiting for another to cross so I could catch it from the overpass as shown in #2 - didn't happen!!
