Shooting position was relatively flat and on solid rock, though I was right on an edge. Takes some time to 'acclimatize' to canyon rims and thousand foot drop-offs, but people do it.

I, of course, am not addicted to gnarly trees. However ubiquitous they might be, I never even notice them. And I certainly never photograph them. They simply don't exist. Even though they're everywhere!!!. All around me! On top of me!!! INSIDE ME!!!1! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............
