Aloha and Bonjour
Thank you all for taking the time to say something about Dad. So many spot on replays. From my perspective I look at a man who went from glass plates to digital and still was doing portraits at 93.
He never turned anyone away who knocked on his door or called for help.Dad knew how to be a great teacher and helped a lot of photographers world wide get started.

I had the privilege to work with Mr Gilbert on over 100 gigs
The best part was him taking my picture!
I will miss him very much

Al was my most inferential teacher and a wonderful gentlemen. God's gift to photography!
