Great catch of Bruiser Carol. Maybe I am the only one that never saw a Gator at Black Point. I have seen small ones on the golf course and at retension ponds. I go on the bike so I can't just roll up the window if I am too close.

Certainly a big boy! Love #2, looks like something made it happy and lovely reflections on #2 & #3.

He certainly is big. I've seen him in the same place several times. The other one looks like he just ate someone or is planning to! I'm glad you enjoyed these, Sylvia.

I remember when you could go all the way from New Smyrna to the National Seashore. Now they have the road blocked off and you have to go WAY around to get to the Brevard beaches. Thanks for the memories.

It has definitely changed over the years but it's still a cool area.

I usually see a few but not a great number. Bruiser's hang out is as you are starting to leave the drive. There is a good sized pond on the right with a couple of little islands. He likes to lay between them on the sand.

I think you read his mind, Bob. (If he has one). Thank you for the fun comment.

Fine series Carol, we do get some big ones here. We have a 4-5 footer in our pond out back, keeps the nutria away.

They are most everywhere. I don't much worry about them but you have to keep your eyes open. I've never seen a nutria in the wild.

Down here you see them frequently but they're really aren't a problem for the most part. You just have to be aware and respectful. They make good subjects because they tend to lay around in the sun!
