I found them sitting on a dead tree, very close to an eagle's nest containing two chicks (I hope). It didn't make sense to me that the parents would allow this; I didn't see the chicks today, I will check on them tomorrow.

Nice shot. I can't believe the eagles would let 2 raptors near their nest. Even though they are smaller, they are quite accomplished hunters. Gary
