Grain Train

A pair of switchers on the siding at Hudson, NY waiting to start shuttling the cars to the ADM Milling flour plant on the east side of town. Because of the steep grade coming off the river they have to make several trips right through the center of Hudson. The grain arrives on a dedicated train out of the mid-west.
Took this while out playing with my new EOS R. Lens was my EF 16-35mm f/4 L IS.

Nice clean shot. It should be posted in the "trains" section.

Uh, it is. Or one of us is confused.
Anyway, here's a shot from 2015 of the train coming through town. Guess who has the right-of-way at the traffic light!

No, you are both correct. The OP probably placed his photo in the Photo Gallery or Main Photography section but it was moved by Admin to Trains. Lemon Drop Kid saw the photo when it was still in the Gallery or Main, you found it after it was moved. Happens all the time.

It was I who was confused. (Or was it me?) I don't know. This is all too confusing. But I loved the train pics!

Thanks Ed. I thought I knew where I saw when I saw it, but I don't see it there now.

Ed, LFingar was the OP.
Here is something that trips me up. Consistently. I see a photo in the "Newest Pictures" section click on it, read comments and at some point wonder why it isn't in the ,in this case, Trains section. Then I go back to the top of the page and guess what? I didn't know where I was because I got there through the Newest pictures rabbit hole.

You commented on it 9 min after I posted it. Admin doesn't work that fast and will PM you when they move a post. (Ask me how I know!) Nope, this was a case where I actually posted in the proper section the first time and you had to go and try to spoil my small victory!

You got caught up with the rotation involving a Wye. I watched the placement of two engine from the front of the passenger car consist to the back end of the consist. I sat on one side of the Wye while awaiting Amtrak to complete the change. Almost forgot to move on when I got the green light to proceed over the leg off the Wye in front of me. I also forgot as to where I was going, for a moment. I actually was stopped on the inside of said Wye. Would not surprise me one bit if Admin was conducting said train.

We see a lot of grain trains here in the Midwest, all headed out to somewhere--perhaps to your town.
