That’s a leaf beetle. Not being nasty. Only trying to be informative. They are a vegetable gardener’s mortal enemy. I squish every one I can. They will devistate a green bean crop. Nice crisp image of the thistle.

Yes, the spotted cucumber beetle, but it certainly makes for a beautiful shot on the thistle. Beautiful image!!
