Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My username is ultraman461 but real name is Robert and I have taken pictures all my life. Became a "Professional" about 2 years ago. I am still learning as everyone knows is a never ending process in this line of work and fun. Although I am considered a professional and have done several things that I have gotten paid for still it is not steady enough to really live on. My question is how does one make a living at this full time without spending many hours at art shows and stock photography. I am willing to travel and able too but setting up a booth at every town is rather expensive and a big gamble. All answers and comments as always welcomed. Here is one of my art pictures that has done fairly well. let me know what you think as well.

Great Photograph, I would crop it a little tighter to close in on her hand. Tell her thanks and give a large bottle of Oil Of Ulay skin cream! Great character photograph.
Well Done
Ian

Thank you. She was very kind and gracious to allow me to do a couple of series with her. that is just one of the pictures I took. Would love to publish the series but not sure how to go about it without spending a lot. I will let her know though that more folks have enjoyed it. she will be happy about that.

Welcome, Robert, nice photo. As stated on this site a little while back, this would be nice in Black & White, cropped a little tighter and framed in a black frame. I like your photo
