It didn't rain for aprx an hour so I went out and dumped the water from this feeder (the only one I didn't move under the swing set) then put in some dry food, the wet food will get eaten once the water drains off on the ground. I filled all the feeders under the swing set and put a few small piles of seeds around the yard. The birds came down and were eating, then less than an hour later the front of the next line of rain storms arrived and a light rain started. The birds became frantic to eat the food before it became soup.
This male house finch was trying to get as much as possible.
