There is one theory of Ice Ages by Ewing-Donn (Bill Donn phd- was my uncle) which states that warming at the poles will actually cause the next ice age. By this time-according to warming predictions- Florida should be under 3 feet of water, and Manhattan would be flooded- have not occured.
