Thanks, Linda - attributes should have been attached by whoever originally appropriated the photo. Good to know it's not a recent one. When I was young the Wienermobile came down our street in Madison, Wisconsin. It was a big thrill. They handed out Wiener Whistles, since discontinued as a choking hazard.

...well, *here's* an original. I was in Rochester a couple of years ago shooting a drum corps championship weekend. I was going from one hotel to another and in the process passing over the Genesee via a footbridge...this late at nite. I was practicing a tune on my Wiener Whistle (that's right, folks...) and came in view of the front of the hotel. BAM! May be the biggest coinkadink of my life...yes, I'm holding my Wiener Whistle.

I was given a wiener whistle at my local grocery in the past year when the wienermobile was in town. So they are still giving whistles.
