Thanks so much. When the weather is 5 degrees outside, I like to do
some still life's insides. Can't wait for spring!

Title is Grandads tool box. Nice image but cannot relate the lantern in the image.

It's night and the lantern was needed to get a tool out of the box???
From years ago in the no electricity age???

Thanks for you response. My thought was to give the photo more of an old-time antique feeling.

Great image! You captured the lantern well, and the seemingly careless placement of the tools adds to the scene. Frame this and put it on your wall for a tribute to him.

Well done. I have a couple old toolboxes that belonged to my Garandad and a few things of his. I’ll explore. Thanks for a good idea for winter exploration

I like it and would also like to see another image without the two foreground tools

Try working with Monochrome. That gives it a nostalgic look. If you are using film try Kodak CN film. Develop with color for sepia tones. Don't use Ilford film. It's too grainy. Frame it for a nice tribute. Go the extra mile. Mount it on a wood plaque. Use Envirotex Lite Liquid epoxy. It gets messy. Hold plaque in place over a tin can and let the stuff drip all over and harden. Did I mention it gets messy. Now that is a tribute worth remembering.

A nice image, however the lantern should be elevated to light the interior of the tool box, other wise it is a distraction and competes with the light coming from the right side of the box.

Very nicely done! I think you captured the spirit of grandad’s tool box beautifully.
