The attached photos is of my dad, who worked in an old grocery store in downtown Everett, Wa for the better part of his adult career. Anyway, I came across the faded original a long time ago and recently thought I'd see what could be done to bring back some of the original color of his apron, shirt, and overall tone. The photo was taken with an old Kodak 110 pocket camera. Thankfully the software and not me did the trick. Sadly, there's not much that could be done with the overcast that I know of. Ken

Please share software, techniques.
Also, I could post my fix, and share my techniques, if you want.

I think you did a good job on he restoration. I would crop or remove that item in the upper left hand corner, if you can.

The software is Photoshop Elements 15. It truly was the software that did the work. I used Auto Color Correction, Auto Tone Fix, and Auto Smart Fix. Otherwise, it would have taken me forever to figure it out. So, nothing special on my part.

I like how you treated this one and it sparks my attention to redoing some of the thousands of old photos I have stored-away that could be improved for family archives and such. Thanks for the example.
