Great photos and excellent builds. We had built a 1/5th scale of an SE-5A British WWI aircraft 49 years ago and flew it for over 27 years before putting it on the side. Unfortunately, about a year later we lost it in a move along with the radio equipment. One of our grandson's is now into RC and that he will want to build either a 1/4 or 1/3 SE-5A. Mahalo for sharing these wonderful photos.

Awesome set. I love WWI and WWII warbirds, real or models. You captured these wonderfully.

Thanks! I have a lot of warbird stuff on my Flickr page if you would like to check it out. I am huge WWII fan myself.

An excellent set. I thought the Nazi symbol was WWII era, not WWI. I could be wrong.

Thanks! The guy that built the model found documentation online of the full scale.

wheres the sopwith camel?

I didn't see any there. I actually like the looks of a camel over the pup. I've heard they don't fly very well though.

Great quality shots and superb looking planes. In flight adds to it all.
DSC 1982 with a closeup of pilot looks real.

Thanks! Good to hear about your grandson. The hobby can use more young people.

Dear David:

These are some of the best shots I have ever seen and especially with RC planes which are the greatest things as far as Modeling goes. There is an annual event in Switzerland I believe where they use miniature JET AIRCRAFT FIGHTERS at reduced speeds and it is incredible to witness. I have seen it on You Tube I think.....worth looking into and you are certainly the man for the job.

Please keep these coming as I never tire of seeing them. Nice Work SIR

Thanks Jimbo! I have been invited to attend other events. Photography is a side job for me, so getting the time off from my real job is tough.
