One bit of solace that I have is knowing that the false prophets/hypocrites that support Trump and his bulls**t are not fooling Jesus, and will pay the eternal price for their anti-Christian behavior.

There is absolutely NO wiggle room in being a Christian - either you live as Christ directed or you do not.

The Bible SPECIFICALLY directed us on how to treat refugees, here are TWELVE INSTANCES just in case you think it was a passing fancy -

Love Refugees As Yourself

When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. (Leviticus 19:33-34)

Leave Food for the Poor and the Foreigner

When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. (Leviticus 19:9-10)

God Loves the Foreigner Residing Among You

He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. (Deuteronomy 10:18-19)

The Sin of Sodom: They Did Not Help the Poor and Needy

Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. (Ezekiel 16:49)

Do Not Oppress a Foreigner

Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt. (Exodus 23:9)

Do Not Deprive Foreigners Among You of Justice

"So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the Lord Almighty. (Malachi 3:5)

Do Wh**ever the Foreigner Asks of You

“As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name— for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm—when they come and pray toward this temple, then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Invite the Stranger In

We Were All Baptized By One Spirit

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, s***e or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. (1 Corinthians 12:12-14)

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself." (Galatians 5:14)

The Bible also SPECIFICALLY directed us how to treat those false prophets/hypocrites in our lives -

17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.

Psychedelic bum tripper, around 50% of our population was born somewhere else or at least one parent was. Sk**led migration has always been a big part of addressing sk**l shortages in Oz. In '81 from application date to a permanent resident visa took 6 mos. These days it's over two years.

In the '80s I worked in cabinet shops all over the place, usually half the tradesmen were from other countries.

Then there are the plane people (usually white people) that overstayed tourist visas by years and became citizens during amnesties. I know two Yanks very well, from the '80s, that went this path. One even worked for the state gov. while illegal.

Then we have business migrants, a substantial business investment required, no waiting.

Then we have refugee intake, people in line for years and boat people. "If you come by boat you will never be a citizen." This is backed up by brutal, UN condemned, offshore detention camps.

The population was around 18 million in '81, now almost 25 mil. 50 million is considered 'a big Australia'.

I love it here! During visits to the US I look around for a place that would work for me now. Prescott, Az. is the closest to something that would work for me.

One of the side benefits of life in Oz?? I never see domestic, crazy God stuff like this. Strictly the stock-in-trade of the Yank preacher caper and Ayatollahs.

So you agree with my post....good, because it was factual!

I do find the God sensitivity by you, and many, to be kind of odd..... why would you give a f—- what others prefer to believe in? I often find that atheists are themselves a “religion” in both the fervor of their belief and their need to attack/push on those who don’t believe the same.

As for Sarah, I think it’s pretty clear what she was saying and I’m guessing doesn’t need folks like you to interpret. If I recall the story she was doing an interview for te Christian network and her comment is a pretty basic one......the “it was God’s will” statement, nothing more, nothing less.
