Loc: The Northshore, Gulf South
Images were taken this January along the MS Gulf coast. I consulted both Peterson’s and Sibley’s birding books and could not positively ID these birds. The first is about 10” long and the next 2 are 6” long.
I would appreciate any help you could provide. Thanks
I think the first one is a willet, second is a sanderling (winter plumage) note the short stubby beak, and I'll guess that the third one is a least sandpiper.
