My made up stuff

I decided that I needed to attach my manure spreader to my Prius.
My Prius does not have a toolbar nor a PTO shaft so I had to resort to Photoshop.
One photo of the Prius in the field, one of the manure spreader being driven by the tractor --> one shot of the Prius spreading manure.

I just set the camera up to take photos every 10 seconds while I set up the shots, then put everything in place and chose the appropriate frame. Unfortunately between the Prius shot and the tractor/spreader shot the wind blew the tripod over so the field of view wasn't exactly the same, but the location was close enough to merge the photos.

Since the trees and the field are the same (the clouds moved a bit) all I had to do was cut out the tractor in the top layer and place the car photo below it to show through the cut out area. A little fine hand work at the back of the car to join the drawbar and the PTO shaft neatly.

Hope the wind did not bust your camera. How fresh was the manure? Creative image.

That was the only time the camera ever hit the ground. It landed lens down.
I had the hood on the lens and it dug into the ground a bit but no dirt reached the lens. Fairly freshly plowed field so it was pretty soft.

Actually the manure was mostly compost. I got manure from a local horse owner and let it compost for 2 years. I got leaves from a landscaper, which also composted for 2 years. We mixed the vegetable trimmings from the wash stand with the leaves. Total mixture was probably about 75% leaves, 10% vegetable trimmings (and weeds) and 15% manure. +/-5% or so.

I use Photoshop a lot. Last September I went to a wedding (mine) where I was the only photographer. Small wedding, about 18 people total. For the group shot I set the camera on a tripod and had it take 20 shots, one every 5 seconds. Naturally people were not always looking at the camera, and there were a lot of shots where people were turned around or had their eyes closed or frowning or something like that. There was no one shot that was good. But everyone was smiling in at least one of the shots.

With Photoshop I just selected the closest to good photo and took smiling heads from the other shots and pasted them over the heads in the selected shots. Result is 18 people all smiling in one shot.

Photoshop is fun.
