Very nice sets. Nice effects. I like the "water" reflections.
Very nice Kimberly and you are clearly on your way to a great life in photography. Best of luck to you and send us more please.

Kimberly, great set of portraits...these are among the best i have seen on the forum, or for that matter anywhere....your work IS professional....Keep up the good work...
Beautiful images. My favorite is Princess Sydnee, the pose, the lighting, the expression... Best of luck to you. Incredible start in studio work!
Superbly well Done! All of them are beautifully done. Love that image #3. An adorable little lady.
They don't get any better than that.
I could see a proud Mom and Dad paying some serious cash for photographs like those.
Great series and great looking kids Kimberly. Very well photographed.
[quote=kadams]My name is Kimberly and I am a East Bay Photographer. I like shooting what ever that catches my eye, down to Juniors, toddler's and babies. I also find myself photographing a lot of animals.
In the last 3 years I found myself gravitating towards portraits. Studios fascinated me, and I wanted to learn lighting and more. I was pulled up on Facebook from a pretty well known photographer that wanted me to shoot in her studio. I was honored and excited, but my confidence level was still very low. She taught me in two days everything i needed to know to get me started. So, here I am going to show you what I created on my first studio shoot. I am going to post a few pictures from my first shoot, I created it, and planned it all out. I wanted to do a Princess scene. So I ordered dresses and a prince costume. I created the scene wit a castle made to look like rock, and it's pretty big. It comes in 6 pieces. I used a large piece of mirror for water, moss for dirt, artificial flowers for plants. Pine cones, sticks, a few pine trees. My models range from age 3-7 years of age. The scene I designed the night before the shoot, it took me approximately 3 hrs to set up and 11 hrs to shoot the following day. I started at 9 am and completed at 8 pm that night. I was so tired after that. The following day is where the real work begun, and that was editing. when you view my images you'll see that the mirror I turned into water. I hand painted in Photoshop to give it the realistic feel to it... I hope you enjoy these images. CC welcome, just be nice please. I know that some people like to say things out of character. I post here because I'm still learning, I still have a lot to learn, so in my eyes I'm at the level of a semi professional photographer. I need other eyes to see what my eyes are missing. so I chose to post here to learn from all of you photographers.
I hope you learn from me, as much as I want to learn from you. Thank you......... CC
Good job...wonderful work.
