These are quite beautiful and really show how cold it can be near a coastline. I like them a lot.

The weather forecast for Sunday 1/27/19 said chance of snow but chances throughout the day for some sun with a high of 3 degrees and wind. I went and ran an errand to town (60 mile round trip) and only momentarily saw some sun. I took a route home that might give some photo opportunities but gray skies and snow was all I saw. Just as we passed the road to Point Betsie, we were in a "no snow" pocket, so we turned around and went to the lighthouse. To my surprise and delight, the clouds parted a little, and I got to see a patch of blue, or two. By the time I stopped photographing, I could not feel my gloved fingers, my legs were froze, as were my cheeks, but I was smiling from ear to ear.

You are braver than me. That water really looks cold! My favorite is #5, the last one. When I looked at the download I could visualize a bunny rabbit hoping thru that little opening looking for something to eat.

Thank you... and now that day is "warm" compared to our next 48 hours.

Thank you Don. I was out earlier tonight in blowing snow getting a few shots. Happy to be inside again.
