The Peruvian Walking Lily is not hardy in Philadelphia and so spends the winters inside our sunroom.
It is interesting in that in home territory it [like the spider plant] sends up stalks bearing the flowers which become heavy enough to bend to the ground and start new plants. One needs to be alert however, since the buds open to these 2.5" diameter flowers which only last about 12 hours before shriveling up.
