My new neighbour knocked on my door and said your lounge is the same size as mine,how many rolls of wallpaper did you buy to decorate it ,I said 14 .he came back a week later and said you told me 14rolls well I have 3 left over,I said so have I.😹🇬🇧

Not many apply wallpaper these days, but I always kept an extra roll for later repairs or renovations.

I was an att installer repairman for 40 years and I always called ahead to see if the customer was home ,especially if the were in a ranch or farm and asked if they had dogs on the property.on a few occasions the customers would tell me not to worry cause they had already been fed.

No, but when I was a wee lad a one arm tree seller bought my dad's Model T Ford because it was the only car of the day he could drive. Paid for it with four trees. Over a short period of time all four died. Never heard how long the Model T lasted.
