Very good close-ups Bmac, I hate spiders.
Thanks Earnest, and lots of folks do hate spiders but flies hate them also.

Excellent work!
Thanks, appreciate it Mike.
Great shot. I love seeing the spiders. I'm far from expert with identifications however I had one that lived on our front porch that resembled it which was a Spotted Orb Weaver.

Some of the spiders that we have here in Texas are pretty docile, BUT, some of them are pretty poisonous.
You HAVE to know what kind of a spider that you are dealing with, and some of the poisonous ones can do "major damage" to you. In some rare cases, without treatment from a Doctor, or a hospital, their bite can actually lead to your demise (death).
So, please be careful.
Lelon.
According to what I've read no one has died from the venom of a spider in the US. a few have died of allergic reaction, but not from the venom. I would however suggest to check for Black Widows before exposing your genitals in an outhouse. Not a lethal bite, but pretty painful all the same.
Black Widow, Brown Recluse, Brown Widow, Banana Spider (which is the most deadliest of all Spiders. It has been accidentally imported from Brazil hiding in fruit. It is called the Brazilian Wondering Spider.)
There are many others, that are poisonous, that have been accidentally imported into Texas. The Brown Recluse & the Brown Widow are imports & as you know, they have become very prevalent here in Texas. I hope that the Banana Spider, & other poisonous spiders, etc, do not become prevalent in our state like other accidental imports have become.
Poisonous spiders, snakes, asps, etc is about all that I permanently get rid of (putting it mildly). People have lost limbs, eye site, ability to function correctly, skin rotting off, & yes their lives, where Doctors do not know how to treat the bites of the Brown Recluse or of the Banana Spider.
Thanks.
Lelon.
Well done.....doesn't look itsy-bitsy to me....though.....eeeewww.

Thanks Sippy. I'm not good on identifying spiders, or insects for that matter, so I will take your word on it.
